1. General Terms
Hatten Education AB complies with the Consumer Rights Legislation regarding Distance Selling Contracts. In order to place an order a customer must be of legal age, 18 years old, or have permission from their legal guardian. A customer means a natural person (ie, a human being).
Hatten Education AB’s products can be ordered via our online shop. Orders will be confirmed by a written order confirmation via email. The order is only confirmed following receipt of the written order confirmation by the customer.
Hatten Education AB reserves the right to decline customer orders. All accepted orders are considered binding.
If you place an order by mistake you must contact us straight away to tell us. If an item is out of stock we will let you know and place the item on backorder. When we have the backordered item in stock we will send it to you. If you do not wish the item to be backordered you can always contact Hatten Education and cancel the order.
All prices are shown in Euros (EUR) and includes VAT(0-25% depending on the item and country). Hatten Education reserves the right to charge increased rates of VAT and to make other price changes that we have no control over. Charges for shipping, and possible COD (cash-on-delivery) charges may be added.
Invoicing is done through our payment partner Klarna AB. Business customers will be invoiced directly by Hatten Education with payment terms of 30 days. Please quote the invoice number when making payment. In the event of late or non-payment a penalty interest payment of 9% will be charged.
Online Card Payment
We accept VISA and MasterCard. Card payment is made through an encrypted connection using Klarna Checkout.
Direct Internet Bank Payment
Karna Checkout gives you the opportunity to pay directly via your Internet bank. Please note that this service is not available for every bank. The list of available banks is shown when choosing this payment method at the checkout.
5. Delivery Time
Normal delivery time is up to two weeks. This may vary in some circumstances, in which case we will inform the customer. Hatten Education will not be liable for delivering items that are out of stock or discontinued. Postage is always shown in the shopping basket.
6. Delayed Delivery
In the event of a delay in delivery for any reason we will contact you. We will, of course, do all we can to ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible. As a customer you always have the right to cancel your order if there is a lengthy delay in delivery. Situations can arise that make it impossible for us to fulfil an order, for example, if our supplier cannot meet their commitments to us. Hatten Education reserves the right to legally disclaim any responsibility to pay compensation to customers in such situations, or in the event of delayed delivery.
Postage of at least 7,90 EURO (inkl. VAT.) is added to all orders.
We want all our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. If you experience a problem with a product please contact us.
9. Returns / Right of Cancellation
Hatten Education complies with the Distance Selling Contracts legislation. This means that you, as a customer, are entitled to 14 days’ right of return without needing to give any reason. The item must be returned in the original condition and in the original packaging. Hatten Education reserves the right to charge the customer if anything is missing, for example, usage instructions. The customer is responsible for paying the cost of returning the item. Items that are returned without any COD (cash-on-delivery) charges paid will not receive a refund of the purchase price. Contact us before you send back the item. As soon as we have received the item we will arrange a refund to you.
Hatten Education complies with the Consumer Rights Legislation regarding complaints. We therefore undertake to replace wrongly despatched or faulty goods at no additional cost. Be careful not to accept packages with visible damage that might have affected the condition of the goods you have ordered. In such cases make a complaint directly to the carrier/post centre and ask them to send the package back to Hatten Education, writing the reason for the return on the package. Then email email@example.com to let us know what has happened.
11. Refused Deliveries / Uncollected Goods
If for some reason you do not accept/collect your package, you will be liable to pay the postage costs for the return of the package, together with an administration fee. This fee is currently 15 EURO. This amount will be invoiced at a later date and in the event of non-payment the invoice will be passed to a debt collection agency for further action. No exceptions are made.
We will never, under any circumstances, disclose any personal details without the consent of the person concerned. The same applies to email addresses.
Although Hatten Education makes every effort possible to ensure that correct information and prices are shown on our website, we reserve the right to disclaim any liability arising from incorrect information or prices shown.
